What to expect on a Sunday
Are you planning a first time visit to Kingdom Collective? First of all – welcome! We are so excited to have you and look forward to meeting you! Sometimes visiting a church for the first time can be overwhelming, so we hope to eliminate any questions and address any concerns you may have with this FAQ below. What time should I arrive?
Our service usually starts promptly at 9:30am, but many people come 10-15 minutes early to grab some free coffee and find a seat! We meet in the gym of the YMCA, so after you find a parking spot - you can head in through the main entrance and straight down the hallway!
Note for families – it usually takes about 10 minutes to register your children for their first time in KC Kids!

Is there anything for my kids?
Yes! We have age-appropriate instruction for children ages birth-6th grade. If you child would like to go to kids ministry, you will see a check in table immediately to the left when you enter the YMCA. Here you will check in your child and provide basic information like their name, birthday, your contact info, and any allergies your child may have. In class, your children will have a time of worship and bible teaching, as well as snacks and playtime! We believe that children have the same capacity to learn about and encounter God as adults do. Your children will not be "babysat", but intentionally poured in to by volunteers who are passionate about discipling children in their walk with Jesus!
Should I bring anything?
The only thing you have to bring is yourself! Every Sunday we teach from the Bible, so if you want to bring your own Bible and something to take notes with, you are more than welcome to!
Where are the restrooms?
Once you enter the YMCA, there are restrooms located immediately to the right (across from the nursery). There are additional restrooms across the hallway from the gymnasium. Typically, you can look for a small a-frame sign directing you to the restroom. If you don't see this sign - don't be afraid to ask someone around you!
What is the service like?
Typically, our service lasts 90 minutes. Some weeks look different than others, but you can usually expect to worship in song as we start our time together with worship – centering our hearts on the Lord through thanksgiving and praise. We love to follow where the Spirit leads during this time! There is freedom to express! After this, you can expect to hear a sermon from a KC pastor, someone from our community, or the occasional guest speaker. We value the "collective" in our name and desire to have a variety of voices teaching the Word and sharing the heart of God!
